A rough time was predicted to Volkswagen following the scandal with emissions. However, the German carmaker is very creative and determined to make it up to their fans. Since the crossover segment in the car industry is the most profitable nowadays, the VW will bring many new models next season. The final piece of the puzzle is 2019 VW T-Roc, which will join Atlas, Tiguan, and Touareg.
Dimensions of the 2019 VW T-Roc are not official yet, but we know it will be the smallest SUV in the USA lineup. And yes, the new crossover is coming to the biggest market. Whatsoever, the launch date is set for next year, as well as the start of sales. Price is, on the other hand, unknown yet. The concept of Volkswagen T-Roc promises attractive design, but we must wait to see the final product for market.
2019 VW T-Roc Ready for USA
It is confirmed that 2019 VW T-Roc will be available in the US. However, the company is not going to build the SUV in North America. First, they want to make sure there is an interest, and then the production could be moved across the ocean.
Contrary, we could also hear rumors speaking of some other name in the same spot. However, there is no further info which can confirm that VW is giving up on T-Roc and launches the other crossover.
2019 VW T-Roc Design
As many of its siblings, the 2019 VW T-Roc will use an MQB platform. Not only that Volkswagen vehicles ride on it, but also some Audi models. One of them is Q2 compact SUV. However, the T-Roc will have a distinctive look and different part. From what we saw on its concept, the crossover is showing a 2-door vehicle. It is hard to believe not to see a four-door layout. On the other hand, the render is leaving a space for eventual Cabrio version.
Dimensions
There are always plenty of differences between concept and production model. Well, dimensions are not suffering so much, so we can speak of a 165-inch length of 2019 VW T-Roc. However, wheelbase span is unknown yet, and many things will depend on it.

European customers will find three different versions with engines using this fuel type. For the US, there are at least three more petrol unit. Volkswagen will install a turbocharger in each one. The standard drive system includes a manual gearbox and a front-wheel drive. Optionally, there is an automatic transmission with 7 gears and all-wheel drive mode.
