Thanks to the Volvo’s “Scalable Product Architecture” design language, XC60 gained a big advantage. The front grille is more prominent and recessed between the headlights. The grille no longer features horizontal bars, but new vertical slats. The headlights are new too, with a thinner design.

The fog lights are moved even lower to the outside corners and the hood looks more rounded. To complete the aggressiveness, front edge has been toned down and accented by a second body line that runs through the whole body. The side view mirrors are mounted to the doors and are placed a little lower.

The doors received some cutout and with more chrome material. At the back, new LED taillights are placed on the corners but they stretch all the way to the rear hatch. The rear fascia is accented by some chrome inserts and it comes with new body lines.
