The Japanese Company is ready to launch its new family crossover 2019 Subaru Ascent that made a debut at the 2017 L.A. Auto Show in November. It is a three-row vehicle that is larger than Subaru Tribeca and it comes with the more interior room.
The new Ascent is made on Subaru’s Global Platform. Some company’s vehicles already ride on this platform, and the rest of the lineup will eventually follow these footsteps. Subaru spent a lot of money on this architecture so it is no wonder. Ascent is a well-equipped midsize SUV with the great specs, and it will compete with other segment leaders like Toyota Highlander or Ford Explorer.
2019 Subaru Ascent Very Handsome SUV
The newest model 2019 Subaru Ascent is very handsome and attractive SUV. It owns a ton of different styles packed in its huge body.
The beltline looks swooping, and some classic Subaru cues can be seen, for example, the C-shaped LED daytime running lights. Or standard six-sided front grille, or the A-pillar windows. It will be offered with few trims Base, Premium, Limited and Touring.
With the Subaru Global Platform, the upcoming model will measure 117-inch wheelbase, 78.3 inches wide, 198.8 inches long and 72.4 inches tall. This platform is also used in Impreza and Crosstrek wagon models.
The model will be presented with the few colors Twilight blue, Crystal white, silver, Venetian red pearl, Crystal Black, Wilderness green metallic and many others.
2019 Subaru Ascent Interior and Cargo Room
There is seating for eight passengers with three rows. Furthermore, Ascent offers room like almost no one in this segment. The second and third-row seats are comfortable and acceptably roomy. The interior is equipped with more USB ports and a Smart Rear View Mirror that offer functions just as rear view mirror or rear-facing camera.
That is handy especially when the vehicle is full of cargo or people, or anything that will block the view from the mirror. If we compared Ascent with the Honda Pilot the newest model has a tad more cargo room behind the third row. However, the model is also longer than Pilot.
Heated seats are coming as standard, both front, and rear, and lumbar support is optional. A heated steering wheel is offered, just as ventilated front seats.
The second-row bench is standard, and trims except the base one come with a second-row captain’s chairs. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are coming as standard equipment, and this is the first Subaru that offers in-car built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi, up to 8 USB ports and incredible 19 bottle and cup holders. The new head-up display is also added, and some driver assists technologies too.
From optional equipment, we can add Steering Responsive Headlights and Reverse Automatic Braking. Furthermore, Subaru’s Starlink group of tech features offers a remote engine start, and remote lock/unlock.
Safety Features of the 2019 Subaru Ascent

With this system in, previous models received the highest rating for front crash prevention. This system is also present in models like Subaru Crosstrek, Forester, Impreza, Legacy, Outback, and WRX.
The Pre-Collision Braking system will be in-charge of the full braking force in the unexpected situations. These features are here to help to avoid and reduce frontal collisions.
