The 2021 SEAT Ateca was spotted and its premiere is set for the first months after the coronavirus let us go back to normal life.
The front fascia takes the most modifications. We don’t know if the prototype shows the final version, but the snow indicates that photos are fresh. So, we know that 2021 SEAT Ateca is introducing a new styling. And what about the drivetrain lineup? According to rumors, the new engine is under the hood. However, this one is still a mystery.
Front Fascia is All-New
Prototypes are wearing the radiator grille with the unique styling. Plus, there is a new group of lights available on the edges. Of course, bumper modifications and larger air vents are included. We couldn’t take a glance inside the vehicle. However, the redesign will also include the cabin, on the same level as the redesign affects the exterior.
2021 SEAT Ateca New Drivetrain
According to rumors, the 2021 SEAT Ateca will get a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with more power than before. Nevertheless, this is not the only possibility. SEAT also used a 1.4-liter hybrid system on the latest edition of Leon. Finally, a 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel is another option. So, the crossover is getting a performance edition, that is for sure.
The goal is to produce and sell more than 100,000 units next season. The company was on the verge of this number last year. Ever since its arrival in 2016, SEAT is making more Ateca units annually. This is the European crossover and we won’t see it elsewhere… yet.
