Well, the EV is not the only version of the 2021 Porsche Macan. There are performance-oriented S and Turbo models as well. The E-Hybrid system is already available for Macan’s larger sibling, Cayenne. The crossover will also change the exterior and interior in order to refresh the appearance and styling.
All-Electric 2021 Porsche Macan Debuts Next Year
The development of the Macan EV is not a secret. But, everything else about this model is undisclosed. According to speculations, the 2021 Porsche Macan will get a pair of batteries and an all-wheel drive. The output will depend on the power of these electric units, but the high-end models will be on the same level as S and Turbo versions.
What is more important is the range of the 2021 Macan EV. The German carmaker will aim around 250 miles for the base models. Whatsoever, the upper trims and larger batteries will go up to 350-400 miles. Recharging time will take 2 hours with special equipment. On the home outlet, the base version will probably need 7-8 hours. A quick 15-20 min recharge will hit the 80 percent of the battery.
Redesign Changes
The new crossover SUV will keep its aggressive appearance and luxury cabin. However, the 2021 Porsche Macan will look different. The rear end could be bigger, while the front fascia takes the new grille, bumper, and headlights. A new set of wheels will complete the redesign.

The base price for the 2021 Porsche Macan will be modified. After the redesign, the MSRP will jump a bit, but the initial cost won’t be higher than $53,000. The V6 and Macan S package are exceeding $60k. Turbo version will cost closer to $90,000. At the moment, it stands at $85,000.
