The new 2022 Nissan Murano will be based on the Rogue and Ariya concept. The mix of these two could lead to the all-electric midsize SUV. Well, Nissan is taking a break this season, the next one is reserved for debuts of the most popular vehicles, and then comes the Murano redesign.
The SUV is stuck between two popular models – Rogue and Pathfinder. The new look should attract more buyers and we will definitely see an update under the hood. A single engine choice is not good, and another option will make buyers choose.

Conventional and Electric Motors
A V6 will remain part of the lineup. However, a 3.5-liter mill is tuned to deliver only 260 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque. For some other vehicles, the same powerplant can produce nearly 300 ponies. Like in size, the power outputs will suit if you need something better than Rogue, and the gas mileage is improved compared to the larger Pathfinder.
Still, to enhance both outputs, Nissan will develop the electric motors. It is not so simple, but there are a few concepts that can serve as the base. The newest one is Ariya. Although compact, it will be adapted for the new 2022 Nissan Murano. Still, this version might not be available right after the debut.

2022 Nissan Murano Redesign
The SUV will be redesigned, that is for sure. The company is going to update the look of the midsize model. We assume the 2022 Nissan Murano will take the same design language as the new Rogue. However, the test mule is not showing too much behind the camo. The interior is also refreshed. Again, heavy covers are hiding everything except the large touchscreen display. Nissan is about to update the infotainment system and besides the simple layout, we could see the autonomous drive. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be standard.
