The approaching 2019 Nissan Kicks is the smallest crossover in company’s lineup. Moreover, it is also a least-expensive vehicle in this category. The newly 2019 Nissan Kick is based on the Kicks design concept that is firstly presented in 2014 at the Sao Paulo Motor Show. This design is the product of collaboration between Nissan studios in San Diego and Brazil. Even that it is a small vehicle, Kicks possess good cargo capacity. The model will come with three trim levels. This includes the base S model, the middle SV and the top SR trim.

This 2019 Nissan Kicks is also coming in several two-tone color schemes, including a mixture of white, orange and red with the black roof. Furthermore, a combination of gray color and orange roof or blue with the white roof are also available.

Kicks will get a traditional V-Motion front grille, with both the headlights and taillights are in a famous Boomerang shape. Safety features are high, with RearView monitor, Automatic Emergency Braking and Forward Collision Warning as optional. Move up to an SR model and you will get Intelligent Around View monitor which includes four cameras. The moving object detection will alert you if detects anything moving in your close surroundings. It will provide a bird’s-eye view around the vehicle.

This is mostly helpful while maneuvering in tight spaces. Seven airbags are coming as standard, but Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are optional. The company does not forget the safety of the youngest one. The model will offer ISOFIX child restraint system. The 2019 Nissan Kicks is coming with only one engine available, and this option may come as a surprise, knowing the jump in size. A 1.6-liter inline-4 is producing 125 HP and 115 lb-ft of torque. Furthermore, the Kicks is available with only automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

Also, six-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive aren’t available anymore in this year model. Thanks to a Xtronic CVT transmission, 2019 Nissan Kicks will have a better fuel economy than the previous Nissan Juke. It will come with combined fuel economy rating of 33 mpg.

Nissan didn’t announce further information about the pricing of the upcoming Kicks, but it should cost the same as Juke, around $20,000.

The 2019 Nissan Kicks will “kick in” the car markets in the spring of 2019. If you are looking crossover with unique styling, spacious with advanced safety features at an affordable price this model will be an ideal choice. The compact crossover Kia Soul and Jeep Renegade will be main opponents.
