As we said above the upcoming model is caught testing with lots of camouflage. However, some changes are obvious. The platform on which it will be made is the one on which “A class” rests. This will certainly affect the similarity in appearance. The front part will be more aggressive than before, with big company symbol and two wide metal lines.
There will be also obvious change in the size of the wheels which will be larger than before. The rear side has probably undergone the biggest modifications. The spoiler has changed its shape and now is more compact. The lights are also changed and decorated with LED lamps, but we cannot clearly see it yet since it has heavy camouflage.

Under the hood of the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLA is a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 208 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 258 lb-ft of torque at 1,250-4,000 rpm. The engine will be tied to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and it comes with either front wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD).
When it comes to accelerating time, this model will like its predecessor go from 0-62 mph in 7.2 seconds for front-wheel drive (FWD) model and little less with all-wheel drive (AWD) 7.1 sec. The model 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLA with its Eco Start/Stop system will enhance fuel economy, this system can be also disabled. The fuel economy in the city/highway for the FWD is 24/33 mpg and for AWD is 23/31 mpg.
2019 Mercedes-Benz GLA – Rumors Date of Release and Price
For now, we do not have official information about the date of release and cost. Furthermore, we can expect this model in an upcoming year. With its slightly redesigned front and rear end, and the same engine that is used in the previous model, the new model will get a slightly higher price. Our prediction is that will be in the range from $33,000 to 35,000.
The fully loaded 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLA will easily reach $51,000 price tag. This prices above are little higher than we see on models like Mazda CX-5 and BMW X2. Also, the model Infiniti QX30, which have the same platform will cost few thousand less, and this makes it an ideal choice.
