Since the beginning of the 2000s, almost every luxury brand (except Ferrari) decided to jump in SUV segment, and the same is for Maserati. The Italian car company is mostly known for making luxurious coupes and sedans, and in 2017, over a decade of waiting, they released their first SUV. Now, the 2019 Maserati Levante is getting ready to hit the markets.
This model comes with great performance ability and is practical as well. Also, it will be offered S and GTS models as well.
Levante is not cheap, but premium interior comes with great high-tech features, and the exterior is made in classic Italian fashion. While the previous model failed to match Porsche, new Levante is coming with a lot of improvements.
2019 Maserati Levante is much more improved
Maserati started the idea of SUV back in 2003, with their Kubang concept, but that didn’t last for long. The upcoming Levante have a lot of similarities with that concept, but the improvements are so much needed. As a result, Levante is coming as lower and wider SUV with great sportiness. To be exact, new 2019 Maserati Levante is a more tall wagon and less SUV.
The visibility is great thanks to plenty of glass all over its body, and the LED lights look like a cat’s eye. Moreover, the concave grille and shark nose-looking, boost the design a little bit more. Levante looks aerodynamic and possesses a best-in-class drag coefficient.
There were many complains about too much plastic materials, that feels cheap. Maserati found the answer by releasing two optional package trims, Sport, and Zegna Edition. Sport trim features a gloss-black grille, a sunroof, and 20-inch wheels. The same stands for Zegna Edition, but with more luxurious materials inside the cabin.

The front fascia of this SUV is revised and there are also vertical intakes located just in the front of the wheels like in the Base one. However, we also can see the two rectangular sections on the hood. This is probably there to make engine cooling. The rear of the SUV is same as the base and S models. The only difference that is seen is the new and updated exhaust system installed.
Furthermore, the engine that will use this version is also present in Ferrari models. It comes with a 3.8-liter V8 that will pump around 570 HP or 425 kW. With this engine, the 2019 Maserati Levante GTS will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph under the five seconds.
