The company will introduce many changes to this model. There will be some revisions in the taillights and interior. The front fascia will get minimalistic changes. The upcoming model will be available with two trims, base one and F- Sport.

The base one trim comes with a package that includes 18-inch wheels, automatic LED headlights, high beams, rear privacy glass, running lights and also a power liftgate LED fog lights. Let`s not forget a keyless ignition and dual-zone automatic climate control.

The safety for this model year will bring updated things like rearview camera, Safety Connect emergency communications, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise controls a suite of drive safety aids, an 8-inch display screen, system and a nine-speaker sound system.

The F Sport trim will come with a sportier exterior design. This package will also bring 20-inch wheels, transmission paddle shifters, adaptive suspension dampers, enhanced engine sound. In the premium package, there is auto-dimming side mirrors, automatic wipers, driver-seat memory functions, leather upholstery, wood trim and a rear armrest storage compartment. It will come with a larger 12.3-inch display that includes voice controls and gesture control.

The new 2019 Lexus RX 350 comes with the V6 engine that is hooked to either FWD or AWD system as optional. However, there will be some changes and improvements. Some of them will be visible in the fuel consumption. The new model comes with the famous 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 295 horsepower at 6,300 rpm and 267 lb-ft of torque at 4,700 rpm. The fuel consumption or EPA city/highway fuel economy is 20/27 mpg for the (FWD) and 19/26 mpg for the (AWD).

However, the most efficient model in the Lexus RX line remains the hybrid variant or Lexus RX 450H. This version also comes with optional F sports package. It combines a 123-kW electric motor with the 3.5-liter V6 engine. The gasoline engine will deliver 259 horsepower at 6,000 and 247 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm. It has a total output of 308 horsepower. The city/highway fuel economy for this one is 31/28 mpg (AWD). However, this model only comes with all-wheel drive. As for the towing capacity, the Lexus RX’s can tow maximum 3,500 pounds.

Lexus RXL – The 3-Row Version

Lexus has finally introduced the RX 350 version with the third row of seats that will be available under the name of Lexus RXL. Compared to the regular version, the RXL model is for 4.3 inches longer and can accommodate additional two passengers in the third row. In the offer for 2019, Lexus RXL has two configurations. The first one is a seven-passenger model which can fit two passengers in the third row, and the other one is a six-passenger version with second-placed captain’s chairs. This model has the same engine options like the regular version.

The model with a hybrid powertrain (RX450h) will also get this 3-row version. However, it will be only available with captain’s chairs ie. with a configuration for six passengers.

When it comes to the prices the 2019 Lexus RXL has a price of $48,665 and for AWD version you must add $1,400. The price for hybrid version – RX450hL isn’t announced yet.

2019 Lexus RX 350 – MSRP, Release Date and Rivals

The redesigned 2019 Lexus RX 350 will have MSRP around $45,000 for a front wheel drive model. If you need all-wheel drive, then you must pay extra $1,400. However, the 2019 Lexus RX 350 sport or F model will have a starting price under $50,000. The hybrid model 2019 Lexus RX 450h will be around $55,000.

The final one and the priciest is the model 450h F Sport with a starting price just under $57,500. With this prices, the new 2019 Lexus RX 350 will challenge Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, Acura MDX, Lincoln MKX, Volvo XC60 and Infiniti QX50.

Also, as per latest news, the updated version RX in 3-row RX L is introduced in L.A auto show with a capacity of seven seats.
