The 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport will maintain its reputation as one of the most versatile SUVs in the world. Well, it is a luxurious model, but it doesn’t spoil its attractiveness. The price it there to do it. However, the crossover is worth every penny. Name it, and one of its version or trim levels will offer. Petrol, diesel and hybrid units, V-6 and V-8 engines, super- and turbochargers, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Well, the 2019 Range Rover Sport will offer only one transmission and AWD only.
The facelift of the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is not going to include too many changes. Only SVR model will redesign its interior. Hybrid P400e is almost without any modifications. Supercharged powertrains are reliable and potent. We are still waiting for a release date and price info. But, with modest changes in the entire lineup, we believe that the 2019 Range Rover Sport will keep the similar pricing as its predecessor.
2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Engines
The base petrol drivetrain is a 3.0-liter V-6 engine. In Australia and the US, buyers will find even smaller displacements. However, this is the entry-level engine for the US. A supercharged unit has two kinds of setup. For SE and HSE trim levels it will return 340 hp and for higher trims 380 horses. It also returns 330-340 lb-ft of torque and 20 mpg.
V-8 Powertrain Again in Range Rover Sport SVR
The SVR is a performance-oriented version. It uses a 5.0-liter V-8 engine which is capable to produce 575 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy drops to 13/20 mpg. The current lineup has Autobiography and Supercharged models with the same unit under its hood, but with a different configuration. These SUVs are good for 520 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque.
2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Diesel
Buyers in the US will also get a diesel version of 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport. It is a 3.0-liter displacement. However, instead of the supercharger, we find on petrol units, this one will get a support from a turbocharger. Power output can’t match its siblings, but torque level is on par with a 5.0-liter gasoline engine. Also, diesel unit will return much better mileage.
2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport P400e Hybrid
A hybrid version of the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is coming next season as well. It wasn’t available for customers in North America before, but we could see PHEV model in other markets. This hybrid is using a 2.0-liter petrol unit and combines it with an electric motor. The system is good for 400 hp and the crossover can tow up to 3,500 pounds. Drivers can load up to 100 pounds only on roof rails. This model is pretty quick since its top speed is estimated to 135 mph. Range Rover Sport Hybrid will be able to sprint to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds.

2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Price
With so many options, we can expect from the carmaker to launch trim by trim, option by option. The hybrid model will probably be the highlight of the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport. So, the special occasion will present this version. On the other hand, we could see the first models even this year. The price will start at $68,000 for petrol and $70,000 for the diesel model. Where will SVR and Hybrid lands, we still don’t have any hint.
