Wagoneer is definitely one of the SUVs fans would like to see on the road again. Well, it is time to plan your expenses, since the nameplate will be in the market again. The 2021 Jeep Wagoneer is a three-row full-size SUV that takes a position above the Grand Cherokee.

The FCA is ready to take on the Ford and GM and their Expedition and Tahoe SUVs. The expectations of the new Wagoneer are high. The company is about to deliver an extended version, as the Grand Wagoneer. This is again a response to Expedition MAX and Suburban.

Specs

Under the hood of the 2021 Jeep Wagoneer will lay a V8 unit. FCA has a couple of engines to offer. It is certain that the base version will come with a 5.7-liter powerplant, capable to produce 360 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. The same mill is optional on Grand Cherokee and Ram 1500.

An 8-speed automatic transmission shifts power to rear wheels. All-wheel drive is optional, while the V8 can tow up to 7,500 pounds. The fuel economy will depend on curb weight.

2021 Jeep Wagoneer Trackhawk

Jeep is not going to use the SRT badge for its performance models. Now, all high-end versions will be called Trackhawk. The 2021 Jeep Wagoneer will carry a 6.4-liter Hemi engine and not a Hellcat unit. The new tuning will push the Trackhawk edition closer to 500 hp from a V8 drivetrain. We still don’t know if the Wagoneer is getting a 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat engine capable to produce 707 hp. Its smaller sibling, Grand Cherokee is the most powerful SUV thanks to it.

2021 Jeep Wagoneer Price and Release Date

The price of the 2021 Jeep Wagoneer is more predictable than its release date. Being a full-size three-row SUV means its price will start above $50,000. Since it is a new model, Wagoneer could cost $55,000 in the base form. The company confirmed both this one and Grand Wagoneer for 2021, but the release date schedule is not available yet.
