I-Pace is an electric crossover by the premium British carmaker. The EV is offering exceptional range, but the latest news is more stunning. The 2021 Jaguar I-Pace SVR is going to be top of the class performance-version with incredible performances.
Previously, company bosses announced that the engineers will work on this kind of crossover. The release date was set for late 2020 and we are approaching this date. It is time to start investigating what is already known about the 2021 I-Pace SVR.
I-Pace SVR Specs
The I-Pace electric crossover is ready to take you nearly 300 miles in a single charge. Total outputs are at the respectable level – 400 ponies and 515 lb-ft of torque. Well, the 2021 Jaguar I-Pace SVR is going to top that. We can expect the upcoming SVR version to reach 500 horsepower, improving sprint and max speed times. The standard edition needs 4.5 seconds for 0-60 mpg acceleration. The SVR will do it in less than 4 seconds. Also, do not expect the top speed to remain at 125 miles per hour. On the other hand, do not expect a range of over 200 miles for this one.
What Will 2021 Jaguar I-Pace SVR Look Like?
Besides the tuning of the electric drivetrain, the 2021 I-Pace SVR will look bolder than the standard edition. On the rendered image, we can see a more muscular appearance with some black details. There are also some other SVR-specific upgrades, and the most notable is lowered suspension, which will provide better performance.
Designers will make the cabin sportier, with special buckets and wheels. That is not all since the infotainment system is going to offer more advanced features. All this will cost you at least $100,000. Standard editions are priced between $70,000 and $80,000. The I-Pace SVR will take on the new Mercedes AMG models with the EQ platform, as well as the Audi crossovers that will use the e-Tron technology.
