The luxury British carmaker Jaguar is currently working on the new five-seat electric sports car that will be named 2019 Jaguar I-Pace EV. This model will be the first battery-electric vehicle that will be made from this company.
With an amazing range of over 300 miles thanks to a 90kWh lithium-ion battery pack, this model will be the main concurrent to the Tesla vehicles.
2019 Jaguar I-Pace EV – Offers Great Comfort
With Jaguar models, drivers always have the feeling they got at least a bit more than expected, which will certainly be the case with 2019 Jaguar I-Pace EV. To recharge a full battery you will need just two hours when using a 50 kWh DC charger. Furthermore, with a powertrain that provides all-wheel drive, the model will reach 62 mph from a stand-in just four seconds.
The director of JLR line Ian Hoban statement on the press conference that electric motors built in the new model provide an immediate response.
2019 Jaguar I-Pace EV – Manufacturer retail price and Release Date
There is no official news from British manufacturer about price and release date. But if we look at the model F-Pace SUV that is similar to this one, we expected that 2019 Jaguar I-Pace EV come in the price range from $67.000 to $80.000.
It is expected to be in the market in the middle of 2018. As we told at the beginning, this model with its specs and mileage will be the main competitor to Tesla cars.
