With the rooms for up to seven passengers, very dynamic exterior, subtle interior with the latest technology, newly 2019 Infiniti QX60 is ready to hit the car markets around the globe. This luxury SUV perhaps comes as an alternative to highly rated, Audi Q7 or Acura MDX, but we are not looking in that way.

Infiniti’s new QX60 is anything but the alternative. It still offers luxury, athletic look, reasonable both size and price. This SUV is fun to drive it comes with great suspension, superior handling, and few powertrain options. What else do you need? Well, the upcoming model comes with few updated and a new Rear Door Alert feature, that will boost safety ratings a little bit more. On top of that, even the hybrid model is available.

2019 Infiniti QX60 Sleek and Sharp Exterior

The all-new QX60 looks somewhat rounded, but nothing strange, Infiniti does it all the time. The exterior is sleek and sharp, carrying the Japanese car maker’s signature grille design. Headlights are also fitting so well in the already nice looking exterior. Looking QX60 from the side, and you will see the sloping roof, but that doesn’t affect the cabin roominess.

The power tailgate now comes as a part of standard equipment, so loading and unloading stuff is now much easier. Plenty of chrome trim can be found on 2019 QX60, no matter what paint is chosen.

Speaking of paint, Infiniti offers seven colors, including Majestic White, Graphite Shadow, Liquid Platinum, Hermosa Blue and Black Obsidian. Two new colors are Jade Green and Hagane Blue. An all-season rubber 20-inch wheels are an option, while 18-inch wheels will come as standard.

While the SUV segment is packed with 3-row models, the 2019 Infiniti QX60 is taking the advantage with its own layout. Infiniti’s formula is working fine for them, with space for seven passengers where all of them are comfortable and leather-lined.

The third row is very accommodating for two adult persons, and the second row is also easy to slide in and out. Up front, the audio, navigation and climate controls are easy to use and reach, and the interior is boosted with plenty of soft-touch materials. Laminated glass will make the cabin a lot quieter.

InTouch Services

Thanks to a new Infiniti’s InTouch Services, the driver can access InTouch infotainment system very quick and easy. This system also provides a Vehicle Health Report, vehicle information, Bluetooth and Voice Recognition for audio.

For the rear passengers, there is a Theater Package available with eight-inch screens, 12-volt power plug, USB and HDMI ports, Wi-Fi and 2GB of data.

Powered by a smooth 3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 295 HP, the approaching 2019 Infiniti QX60 is offering a continuously variable automatic transmission or popular CVT. The QX60 will use the whole potential of Drive Mode Selector that offers four modes, Standard, Sport, Eco, and Snow.

There is also a second drivetrain option available, and it is a 2.5-liter supercharged four-cylinder engine paired with the 15kW electric motor. Yes, it is a hybrid. This combination has a net power of 250 HP and 245 lb-ft of torque. CVT is in this combination as well. For the fuel economy, this model will provide in city/highway 25/27 mpg (FWD), 25/27 mpg (AWD).

Towing Capacity

As for the towing capacity of the SUV, the V6 engine will provide around 5,000 pounds and with hybrid engine 3,500.

2019 Infiniti QX60 Price and Release Date

Price of an all-new 2019 Infiniti QX60 will start slightly over $45,000. The hybrid model will go over $65,000 for sure.

This means that the 2019 Infiniti QX60 is in line with Acura MDX, and a lot cheaper than rivals like BMW X5 and Audi Q7. The end of 2018 or beginning of 2019 is the expected period of release.
