The new version of the Tucson crossover is spied and we expect its release as 2021 MY. The new generation brings a lot of changes. The fresh look and updated infotainment system are not all the things we will see. The 2021 Hyundai Tucson N performance model is going to be the new member of the lineup.
According to leaked stories, the vehicle will burst nearly 350 hp. Tucson was spotted in Nurburgring, but we still don’t know which version is on the images. Multiple sources confirm the arrival of the performance crossover in 2021 (Auto123, Auto Evolution, AutoExpress).

Less Than 6 Seconds for 0-60
The drivetrain of the new 2021 Hyundai Tucson N is still a mystery. Experts say the crossover will be able to crunch 340 horsepower, but the source is still unknown. According to some rumors, it could be a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that currently offers 275 hp. This is not a bad outcome either. However, engineers are about to push it further.
Another option is a diesel unit. As you can guess, this would be a version for the European market. Buyers in this part of the world already got used to Kia’s 2.0-liter oil-burner.
All these options are optional, while the 340-hp banger is the priority. The first specs are unveiled. According to plans, the 2021 Hyundai Tucson N will be able to sprint 0-60 mph in less than 6 seconds.

2021 Hyundai Tucson N Test, Release Date
Let’s see first the regular model. Hyundai is updating its crossover and the facelift details should be available early in 2020. However, the sales of the new model are not starting so soon. The N version with upgraded performance is going to arrive in 2021.
The price is also a mystery. The base Tucson costs $21,000 while the top of the class version is Ultimate, with the price tag of $29,000. Tucson N will easily beat that. Don’t be surprised if the new model reaches $35,000.
