Images delivered by Renault Brazil are unveiling details about the new 2020 Dacia Sandero. For this brand, Sandero is the most popular name. It is the first time that a company changes the flagship model with some serious updates. For the time being, the 2020 Sandero, whose details are shared only on two photos showing the front and rear sections, can also meet expectations with revisions in the cockpit section. The 1.6 model, which gives us clues about engine dynamics, indicates that the Nissan partnership will also have something with this vehicle.
The revisions made the new 2020 Dacia Sandero carry traces of the relatively modern Renault models. Especially the LED stop design and general lines should be highlighted at this point. C-shaped daytime running lights fit the shape of the front bumper design. With it, Sandero looks sportier. Under the hood will be the new CVT. This is the clear mark of Nissan’s influence.
2020 Dacia Sandero New Generation or Redesign?
Some sources claimed the new 2020 Dacia Sandero will launch the new generation. Changes in this model are notable, but we still believe it is not enough for the new series of the crossover. The new 2020 Dacia Sandero will get several options under the hood. First of them is the 1.6-liter petrol unit, which will be the flagship version. In other markets, buyers will find a 1.0 or 0.9 petrol drivetrain. The only diesel available for Sandero is a 1.5-liter dCi. This one is already proven in numerous vehicles. Upgrade for the upcoming season is the CVT transmission Renault is getting from Nissan. This is only the first step in partnership and two companies are going to share a lot of other features in all other segments.
2020 Dacia Sandero Stepway
Special version of Sandero crossover is Stepway. It is a slightly larger crossover with improved off-road capabilities. For the next season, the 2020 Dacia Sandero Stepway will be lifted for around 3 inches compared to its base sibling. Skid plates are included, as well as the unique two-tone paint. Bigger wheel arches allow buyers to install larger wheels.
Release Date
The new 2020 Dacia Sandero is coming soon. Renault Brazil already announced the crossover that comes under the badge of the parent company. The carmaker is going to launch the new version of the crossover by the end of this year. Stepway will be available soon after the base edition.
