2020 Nissan Armada is Coming Without Big Changes

Launched in 2017, the current generation of Nissan Armada SUV is still fresh. It is not the time for a mid-cycle update, or some other big change yet. Still, the company can refresh it with minor cosmetic treatment, or some kind of limited edition. The focus is definitely on the premium segment and Infiniti QX80.

These two full-size SUVs will share a lot of things in common. At first place, that is a 5.6-liter V8 engine. However, the new 2020 Nissan Armada could borrow a drivetrain from its other close sibling – Nissan Titan XD. If a 5.0-liter turbodiesel enters the SUV segment, it will make this model the mightiest in the entire class. Cummins powertrain is capable to produce 330 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque. Converted to towing capacity, the specs sheet shows 12,500 pounds. No other SUV can match it.
