Buick is not a power player in the SUV segment. But, its exclusive crossovers have many fans. And now, the company is about to turn things up with a stunning concept – Buick Enspire EV. For a while, we can hear that the carmaker is planning to add such vehicle to its lineup. But, now everything is official. The EV crossover concept had a debut in Beijing.

Buick’s crossover concept will not double it but burst to 550 hp. Well, the battery is much larger, since the Buick Enspire EV should use a 410 kW unit.
Range
The Buick Enspire EV crossover concept will be able to go 370 miles without recharging. This is a jaw-dropping number already, but we will have to check other performance to make it even more stunning. The SUV will sprint to 60 mph in just 4 seconds. Finally, it takes 40 minutes for the vehicle to recharge 80 percent of the battery. Nevertheless, presenters were not specific what kind of power outlet the Enspire EV needs. We assume a wireless charging is also an option.

The Buick Enspire EV concept shows the futuristic way of thinking in every detail. Not just the electric vehicle, but also the design. The SUV is going to be pretty wide. However, it will boost aerodynamics with smooth hood- and roofline. A unique grille and horizontal bar lights are creating the dynamic duo which adds some aggressiveness to its overall appearance. LED lamps at both ends boosts overall elegance.

The electric segment in crossover class is not so crowded yet, so the Buick Enspire EV is not going to have too many rivals. Of course, Tesla is the dominant force here. Also, Jaguar I-Pace draws a lot of attention. However, Enspire electric SUV is not going to conquer the market so easily. Such high outputs will skyrocket the price. Estimations are not available yet, but it could be on par with Tesla Model X or the upcoming Model Y.
