The BMW Company is preparing to expand its offer with the new small SUV model 2019 BMW X1. From some rumors, the model will come with five seat version as well as a hybrid-powered variant.

Furthermore, the upcoming model will offer the option of front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The engine will be mount to 8-speed Aisin automatic transmission. This model will also have Sport, Comfort and Eco mode.
We expect same start/stop system that will shut off the engine at idle and save fuel economy. When we talk about fuel economy, this model will have EPA city/highway of 23/32 mpg for the front wheel drive and 22/31 mpg for the all-wheel drive. Top speed of this model will be 129 mph.

As for the rumors over the internet, the 2019 BMW X1 sDrive28i will have MSRP just under $34,100. However, the model with all-wheel drive xDrive28i is over $36,000, and fully loaded model can easily reach $40,000. The manufacturer is for now keeping in secret release date, but we assume that will be at the end of 2018.
This model will have a huge amount of opponents, some of them are Lexus NX, Mercedes-Benz GLA and Lincoln MKC, Buick Encore, Infiniti QX30, Volkswagen Tiguan and Audi Q3.
