The new model 2019 Acura RDX is a compact crossover that remains a favorite of those who looking for a small luxury SUVs. Furthermore, it comes with a plenty of new high-tech features and with lots of space for all passengers.

2019 Acura RDX – Design and Safety
Acura has shown the first teaser of the third generation RDX. This prototype will be presented Jan. 15, 2018 on the Detroit Auto Show.
The new spy shots of the 2019 Acura RDX appears on the web. It’s clear from it that will have some rendition of Acura’s Jewel-Eye headlights. Also, its taillights will get unique matrix LED technology (only on the higher trim levels). However, we expect to see grille similar to the MDX model, or diamond pentagon that will enchant its appearance. This model also comes with four package options, advance package, technology package, Acura Watch plus package and Standard.
As for the interior, the 2019 Acura RDX will get a completely revamped cabin. It would be nice to see the new centered one display that will replace dual displays used in older Acura version. Some of the other staff that is expected in the upcoming model include soft-touch materials, 10-way-power driver’s seat and 8-way-power passenger seat. The rear seats fold forward will create up to 77 cubic feet of cargo space.
The new model will likely to get dual-zone climate control, active noise cancellation, a multi-view rearview camera and 7-speaker/360-watt AM/FM/CD audio system. There is also expected to get USB/auxiliary inputs and voice-activated text messaging with Pandora Internet radio.
Safety Features
The 2019 Acura RDX will also bring maximum security for all passengers. It comes with the tone of it, some of them are anti-lock brakes, airbags for all passengers, stability control and others. The new SUV is also equipment with ignition disable device. This system will prevent the engine from starting if you don’t use original manufacturer key.
Engine Options:
The new upcoming Acura RDX will come with the one engine options. As per the source, it will have the same engine like the predecessor. The word is about 3.5-liter V6 engine that will produce around 300-plus horsepower. Furthermore, the performance is strong in the RDX and it routes its power through a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The model also comes with front wheels (FWD) and Acura’s AWD Intelligent Control system. This system makes it very efficient with city/highway fuel economy of 20/28 mpg (FWD) and 19/27 mpg for the (AWD). Its accelerate time from 0-60 mph will be around 6.2 sec. However, the top speed is limited to 135 mph.
2019 Acura RDX Turbo:
The third generation of Acura RDX comes with turbo engine also. We are expecting to see 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine under the hood. This is the same engine which gives the power to the new Civic Type R and to the new Accord.
2019 Acura RDX – Debut and MSRP
The prototype of the 2019 Acura RDX will be presented at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show. We don’t expect it to be in the dealerships before the June. We also expected the same price like the previous model.
The Acura RDX FWD has a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of about $36.000. The most equipment model is priced at $46,000 and the Acura Watch package is included. Some of the rivals include Infinity QX50, Lincoln MKC, Volvo XC60 and others in this segment.
