Hennessey Performance Engineering is taking things into their hands. But, let’s start from the beginning. Base models of Grand Cherokee are equipped with a small engine. An SVR edition is always attractive since it brings unique details and what is more important, more power. But, neither it can match the output of Trackhawk. Next season, the engine for this edition will be a 6.2-l V-8 with 700+ hp.
The performance package by Hennessey will add 150 more horses, approximately. For the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, HPE850 upgrade adds high-flow air induction system. With rear-wheel drive, the beast will create 852 hp.
Not too many buyers would want to handle such vehicle. Almost unlimited power makes Grand Cherokee Trackhawk Hennessey HPE800 run 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds. Powerful, fast, and expensive, tuning company is not going to produce a lot of these. In future, we doubt we will see too many similar SUVs, making the Trackhawk HPE850 one of its kind. Enough to become collectible.
